OTAVA Ltd. and Institute of Genetics and Molecular Medicine at University of Edinburgh Announce Research Collaboration

05-Mar-2008

OTAVA Ltd. and Institute of genetics and Molecular medicine at University of Edinburgh, Cancer Research UK-p53 signal transduction Laboratories (UK), have announced plans for an integrated research project focused on a kinase targets.

In terms of the project, OTAVA will perform virtual screening to identify a set of compounds that might display protein kinase inhibitory activity. In addition, OTAVA's scientists will carry out all tasks associated with organic synthesis and chemical optimization.

Scientists from Cancer Research UK-p53 Signal Transduction Laboratories are responsible for biological in vitro tests concerning determination of the kinase inhibitory activity of selected compounds including enzymatic assays and cell tests.
