Jeffrey DeAlmeida appointed new Senior Vice President of BASF Pharma Solutions

In this role, Jeffrey DeAlmeida takes responsibility for BASF’s global pharmaceutical solutions portfolio and the Nutrition & Health business in North and South America.
Jeffrey DeAlmeida has served in numerous leadership roles and brings over 23 years of experience working in multinational organizations in the automotive industry, in both OEM and tier supplier roles. He joined BASF’s Catalyst Division in 2001 after four years with DaimlerChrysler Corporation. He has held numerous roles within BASF, including Global Key Account Manager for Commercial Truck OEMs in North America, Global Product Manager for gasoline engine applications, marketing management for the Americas region and management of the Mobile Emissions Catalyst division in South America. His most recent role was as Vice President of Transportation for BASF’s Performance Materials business, leading customer-facing commercial and technical teams serving the automotive industry, as well as key initiatives in the areas of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion and Sustainability.
Jeffrey DeAlmeida holds a Master of Business Administration from New York University, a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Pennsylvania State University.
