Patrik Dahlén new CEO of DakoCytomation A/S

The Board of Directors of DakoCytomation A/S has resolved to appoint Patrik Dahlén CEO of DakoCytomation. Patrik Dahlén has been acting CEO since August 1, 2005.

"During the past few months we have searched the global market for potential candidates through one of the world's leading recruitment companies. We have now completed this search and found that Patrik Dahlén is the best match for the position. Over just a short period of time, Patrik Dahlén has demonstrated great management skills and drive, which we are sure will strengthen DakoCytomation's performance and growth in the years to come," said Sonnich Fryland, Chairman of the Board of Directors of DakoCytomation.

Patrik Dahlén will remain a member of the Board of Directors of DakoCytomation until the next annual general meeting.

Patrik Dahlén's career includes positions with PerkinElmer Inc., where he was president of the Life Sciences business unit, and EG&G Wallac OY, where he was head of the Diagnostics Systems Division.
