Fluidigm named one of the fastest growing companies
Company Ranked 218 on the Fastest Growing Company in North America on Deloitte’s 2011 Technology Fast 500 List
Fluidigm Corporation announced it ranked 218 on Deloitte’s Technology Fast 500™ ranking of the 500 fastest growing technology, media, telecommunications, life sciences and clean technology companies in North America. Fluidigm grew 425 percent during this period.
Fluidigm President and Chief Executive Officer, Gajus Worthington attributes the ranking to life science researchers’ enthusiasm for Fluidigm’s industry leading genetic analysis tools, which they use to explore the causes and characteristics of diseases all the way down to the level of a single cell.
“We are addressing unmet needs in genomics. The result is that we have experienced market demand increase for our products across our customer base, including academic research, pharma biotech, and even industrial concerns like Ag-Bio” said Worthington. “We have worked long and hard to create the foundation for a long-lasting and vibrant growth company, and we’re delighted with the reception of our products.
