TAG Copenhagen A/S
About TAG Copenhagen
TAG Copenhagen A/S was founded in 1996 by the Ross-Petersen family who still owns the company. TAG Copenhagen office and production facilities are located at Symbion Science Park in the very heart of the Medicon Valley. This area represents one of the largest pharmaceutical and bio-technological growth centres in Europe.
TAG Copenhagen has developed both instruments and software for DNA synthesis which is now being used in several DNA synthesis labs world wide and we are today known for setting new standards when it comes to production and quality control within the field of DNA oligo synthesis.
At TAG Copenhagen the standard purification level is RPC cartridge (OPC) which is performed free of charge. Oligos with dye modifications and oligos >50≤80mer are default RP-HPLC purified (free of charge). Furthermore, TAG Copenhagen was one of the very first DNA synthesis providers in the world to introduce MALDI-TOF MassSpec as the standard QC method. Today, every single oligo produced at TAG Copenhagen facilities is QC checked by MALDI-TOF MassSpec.
Our Quality Management System is compliant with the ISO 9001:2000 standards and we are trusted by many institutions and companies within biotech research and clinical diagnostics – world wide.
We can now synthesize both short and very long DNA oligos as well as most of the common modifications available. As you will see in the price list, TAG Copenhagen can produce DNA oligos for virtually any biotech application. We do however offer more products than listed on this web-site – please do not hesitate to contact us for more information.
