About DNA Therapeutics

Incorporated in June 2006 as a spin-off of four French research institutions led by the Institut Curie, DNA Therapeutics is a clinical stage biopharmaceutical company. The company develops a new class of targeted drugs addressing cancer resistance to conventional therapies, based on an original concept named ‘Dbait’ discovered by Dr. Marie Dutreix at the Institut Curie. This innovative therapeutic approach is designed to fully inhibit DNA repair activities – a key mechanism by which cancer cells escape the effects of radiation and chemotherapy. The ability of DT01, DNA Therapeutics’ lead product, to improve the efficacy of cancer treatments without additional toxicity in healthy tissues, makes it a very promising drug candidate. DT01 and the Dbait technology are covered by an extended IP portfolio providing full patent protection and freedom-to-operate.
