Instituto de Biología Molecular de Barcelona (IBMB)

The Molecular Biology Institute of Barcelona (IBMB) is an integrated institute of the Spanish Research Council (CSIC) in the areas of Biology and Biomedicine. It is located within the Barcelona Science Park (PCB), on a markedly academic area of Barcelona city close to the campuses of the University of Barcelona (UB) and the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC). The IBMB hosts about 30 research groups and is one of the largest scientific institutes in Catalonia and Spain.
