BioProfile FLEX2 On-Line Autosampler (OLS)

BioProfile FLEX2 On-Line Autosampler (OLS) with SRC is a modular system that allows automated sampling, analysis and cooled storage of aliquotes.

Fully configured, the OLS’ small sample volume and fast analysis time provide automated sampling and analysis of 10 bioreactors in less than 1.5 hours.

OLS can be connected to OPC-compliant Control Systems for automated sampling, analysis and feedback control. It consists of the FLEX2 analyzer, Sample Transfer Module (STM), Reactor Sampling Module (RSM) and the Sample Retain Collector (SRC). FLEX2’s 16 parameter panel includes Gluc, Lac, Gln, Glu, NH4+, Na+, K+, Ca++, pH, PCO2, PO2, total cell density, viable cell density, viability, cell diameter and osmolality. Automated QC is enabled. RSM extracts 5.6 ml sample volume from the bioreactor and transports the sample to the STM with two independent fluid paths for sampling and cleaning. STM enables up to 24 samples per day (for each bioreactor) for a detailed look at culture performance. SRC automatically collects and stores sample retains (0.5 -50 ml) enabling off-line testing.

The system is compliant with GMP and 21 CFR 11. Lab-level validation (IQ/OQ) protocols and support are available to monitor proper system performance and functionality.
