Agilent Technologies Honoured with Marketing Excellence Award for Virtual Metabolomics Research Lab
Agilent Technologies Inc. announced the Information Technology services Marketing Association (ITSMA) has awarded the Diamond Award in Leveraging Digital Marketing to Agilent for the creation of www.metabolomics-lab.com. According to the company, this virtual metabolomics research lab positions Agilent as a leading educator and provider of metabolomic research products, applications, services and support.
The award was presented at the 15th Annual ITSMA Annual Marketing Conference. Agilent worked with Boston-based ad agency PARTNERS+simons to create a microsite that would engage metabolomics researchers, lab managers and directors through an ongoing, dynamic and educational virtual laboratory experience.
“Our objective was to create a central repository and information resource for all aspects of metabolomics,” said Ken Miller, senior marketing manager for LC/MS at Agilent. “This microsite empowers our customers to optimize their labs and efficiently move their research forward to be successful in metabolomics.”
An international panel of marketing executives and experts selects the winners based on excellence in innovation, program execution and business results in six critical areas of marketing. The awards honor excellence at two levels: diamond and gold.
