Link Technologies Awarded ISO Quality Certification and Opens New Kilo Labs
Link Technologies Limited announced its accreditation to the worldwide recognised quality standard ISO 9001:2000. This has been achieved in parallel with the construction of several new multi-purpose kilo-scale manufacturing laboratories at its Bellshill site.
Chairman of Link Technologies, Dr Mick McLean said, "For nearly 20 years Link Technologies has provided high quality manufacturing services, but this ISO recognition gives us the official status necessary for partnering with the biggest and best in our industry. Combined with our significantly increased manufacturing capacity, we are now ideally equipped to work with companies developing therapeutic or diagnostic products at the forefront of the oligonucleotide industry: now, more than ever, we can deliver the products our customers need at the quality and quantity they require".
The new manufacturing facilities will be utilised for both custom and routine production. Dr John Bremner, Business Development Director, elaborated, "It is important that, whilst offering bulk contract customers the flexibility they need, we retain - and indeed further improve - the efficiency and reliability our catalogue business is already well known for; ultimately reducing costs for all end-users."
