Digilab BioVisioN receives ISO 9001:2000 Certificate

08-Aug-2007

Digilab BioVisioN GmbH announced it has received ISO 9001:2000 certification by the TÜV Rheinland. The certification comprises Digilab BioVisioN's business of offering research collaborations and services. These collaborations and services encompass discovery of peptide biomarkers and the comprehensive characterisation of proteases and their inhibitors using proprietary Peptidomics®-Technologies and pre analytical sample prep products.

The successful ISO audit is an important milestone for the company in enabling its strategy of globally marketing both services and products based on Digilab's Peptidomics®-Technologies Platform for bioactive peptide and peptide biomarker discovery, validation, and development.

Dr. Wolfram Rodatz, Chief Executive Officer of Digilab BioVisioN, commented: "Digilab BioVisioN passed the ISO 9001 audit without any conditions for improvements or enhancements noted. This is an important recognition of the high quality control mechanisms implemented as an integral part of our operations since the company was founded in 1997. Our understanding of advanced Proteomics and Peptidomics® has allowed Digilab to expand its offering of services and products for our customers requiring peptide extraction and discovery from virtually all sample types."
