Fluorotechnics appoints Mark Weller to head up their UK Sales and Marketing operation
Fluorotechnics announced the appointment of Mark Weller as head of their UK Sales team. According to the copmpany, Mark brings to Fluorotechnics a wealth of sales and technical experience, having served as a leading sales specialist and key-account manager for protein analysis at GE Healthcare (previously Amersham Biosciences and Pharmacia Biotech) for more than 16 years. In this capacity, he was responsible for a number of major healthcare, biotech and pharmaceutical accounts in the UK. Marks role at GE Healthcare combined sales, business development and field-based technical support, including presentations, demonstrations and training support. He was also instrumental in the organization of User days (an opportunity for users to give presentations and to network) and seminars.
Fluorotechnics recently acquired the European electrophoresis company-ETC Elektrophorese Technik, to expand their product portfolio in protein and DNA analysis.
