Agilent Technologies Expands Genomics Network in Asia Pacific
Agilent Technologies Inc. announced that it has signed five distributors to sell and distribute genomics products for microarray analysis. The distributors service India, Indonesia, Korea, Hong Kong, China and Australia. In addition, Agilent has expanded its Certified Service Provider network to include ShanghaiBio Corp. in China and Genotypic Technology Ltd. in India.
"With the addition of these seven companies to our existing network, we can extend our microarray reach across key markets in Asia Pacific," said Dr. Chris Tan, director for Asia Pacific, Genomics, Agilent.
"This is an important expansion for us in the genomics field," Chris added. "Asia Pacific is our strategic focus since the region has experienced double-digit growth for the last five years. We will continue to seek further collaboration with the region's top genomics customers and expand our access through highly qualified Certified Service Providers. This will enable us to produce the most comprehensive portfolio of solutions and products at competitive pricing to researchers in Asia."
