LUX biotechnology ltd and UVP Inc enter an agreement for distribution of LUX luminescent standards for bioimaging
LUX biotechnology ltd (LUX), Scotland, UK, has announced a new partnership with UVP, Inc. (UVP) for the distribution of Low light imaging standards (LLIS(TM)) in North America and Europe. UVP will act as an exclusive distributor of the LLIS(TM) in the North American market and non-exclusive in Europe. According to the company, LLIS(TM) are bioimaging tools that can be used to calibrate virtually any imaging device from cameras that use 35mm film to ultra sensitive CCD cameras.
"Our partnership with Lux Biotechnology gives us access to world class technology solutions for quantitative life science imaging," said Sean Gallagher, the chief technology officer of UVP. "The integration of traceable and calibrated Glowell self-illumination standards into the imaging process is a new cornerstone of modern quantitative fluorescence and luminescence based imaging generating better data with fewer replicates."
