Victhom's CEO Benoît Côte changes role
Victhom transitions to a new era of development of its platforms and products
The Board of Directors of VHB has asked one of its members, Mr. André Monette, to act as Interim President and CEO of the Company while an executive search is undertaken for a successor to Benoît Côte.
Mr. Monette obtained a degree in Engineering from l'Ecole Polytechnique de Montréal and an Advanced Management Program Diploma from Harvard University. Mr. Monette has had a long career in the health sciences industry in Canada and Europe with the Johnson & Johnson group, including general management responsibilities for a company with a medical devices division. He was also active in the financial services industry, has created his own consulting firm in 1998 and has served as a director for several companies. He will work closely with Founder, Executive VP and COO Stéphane Bédard to attain the objectives of the strategic plan of the Company, along with all members of Victhom's outstanding team. Victhom is recruiting a President and CEO to take the Company to its next stage, as it increasingly becomes a leader in the field of neuromodulation and an innovative player as an international medical devices company. "We are seeking a senior executive having significant experience in the life sciences industry, with an emphasis on candidates who have interests, capabilities and networks relevant to the emerging field of medical devices", stated André Monette, Interim President and CEO. "And special attention will be given to those offering novel approaches and insights into these new and attractive markets".
