IngenKO was set up in June 2001 as a spin-off company of Monash University, a renowned academic institute and a leader in stem cell research. The company gained 4 years experience as a commercial supplier of gene-targeted mice on a service-fee basis to customers in the academic, pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical research communities in Australia, the USA, Europe, Japan and Asia.
