Analytik Jena AG and Biozym Scientific GmbH conclude sales cooperation for German-speaking area
Analytik Jena AG and Biozym Scientific GmbH have concluded an agreement on the sale of PCR technologies and consumable materials. This contract gives Biozym the sales rights in Germany and Austria for the SpeedCycler, developed by Analytik Jena in cooperation with the Jena-based Hans Knöll Institute and licensed by the Applera Corporation. The main features of the SpeedCycler technology, include ultra-fast and efficient duplication of the sample material.
At the contract signing, Klaus Berka, Chairman of the Executive Board of Analytik Jena, explained that the long-standing technology sales success of Biozym in this market segment was the main factor, and that the synergies with Biozyms own product range formed an outstanding basis for a promising cooperation for both contracting parties.
