ClinPhone Group gains Champion status
Nottingham clinical technology organisation ClinPhone Group has become one of just 16 organisations from across the UK to be awarded Investors In People Champion status this week.
The Investors in People Champions programme recognises those employers that have boosted the performance of their businesses through the way they manage and develop their employees.
The role of the 16 Champions from all over the country will be to work with Investors in People to share their expertise with other employers through a series of best practise sharing activities designed to promote effective alignment of people development with business goals. The activities will include presentations, mentoring and site visits to other Champion organisations.
"This award recognises ClinPhone as a first rate Investors in People company - a company that puts its people at the heart of its business strategy," explained Sue Thomas, Director of Investors In People UK.
"It also recognises the generosity and spirit of ClinPhone - its willingness to help other companies by sharing its best practices with them.
"There's a buzz in the company that doesn't just come from its success, but the feeling that there's a terrific team all pulling together in the same direction."
ClinPhone designs and delivers market-leading tailor made software systems used in the management of clinical trials by most of the world's leading pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies. The company, which employs more than 400 and has offices in Brussels, Princeton, San Francisco and Chicago as well as its global headquarters in Nottingham.
