Degussa Licenses Genedata's Integrated Bioinformatics Platform to Streamline its Metabolic Engineering Research

Degussa AG, Feed additives Business Unit, Dusseldorf and Genedata AG, Basel announced today that Degussa has licensed Genedata's bioinformatics technology to support Degussa's metabolic engineering research and development process. The package consists of tailored editions of Phylosopher and Expressionist adapted to the needs of the biotechnology industry.

Genedata's technology gives us a comprehensive solution to our ambitious bioinformatics requirements ranging from expression data analysis to functional genomics and biological knowledge databases.
