InterBioScreen and Princeton BioMolecular Research enter into enhanced partnership to expand small molecule discovery chemistry

08-May-2003

InterBioScreen and Princeton BioMolecular Research announced a partnership which will build on their existing capabilities to produce and deliver new generations of discovery molecules for life science research, worldwide. The two companies signed a long-term collaborative agreement to exploit their core, discovery research competencies in small molecule chemistry. It will include InterBioScreen's extensive natural and synthetic chemistry organization and resources, and Princeton BioMolecular's established molecular & medicinal chemistry research expertise, and laboratories in the United States.

"Our partnering with Princeton BioMolecular demonstrates InterBioScreen's commitment to expanding our already successful small molecule chemistry programs into other realms of custom synthesis," stated Professor V.G. Kartsev, CEO & CSO of InterBioScreen, "as well as provide a full suite of products and services to our US and worldwide client-base."

IBS and its founder Dr. Kartsev have garnered several prestigious international awards, the most recent being the EuroUnion "Viannese" in two nomination categories, "Organization of the XXI Century" and "Manager of the XXI Century". The awards were presented to Professor V.G. Kartsev in Vienna at the International Symposium "Science and Innovations 2002".

"Expanding our partnership with InterBioScreen will allow us to broaden our already successful small molecule research and synthesis programs," commented Dr. Kenneth Dallas, Director of Development & Research at Princeton, "We are very pleased to strengthen our ability to provide more innovative small molecule research and custom synthesis to our growing US and Canadian customer base."

PBR's recent move to their new corporate and laboratory facility has vastly increased its capability to produce high-end discovery products and services through state-of-the-art equipment and laboratory automation.
