analytica 2018: Preparations for the upcoming exhibition are underway
Some 35,000 trade visitors from 119 countries came to analytica 2016 to experience the latest product developments and world premieres in the laboratory community. The share of international visitors was approximately 40 percent, the largest increases coming from Great Britain, Iran, Thailand and Turkey. The industry's key players meet regularly at analytica: 85 percent of its visitors hold decision-maker positions. Susanne Grödl, Exhibition Director of analytica, summarizes the significance of the fair: “analytica is the trade show for international market leaders in the laboratory sector that informs participants about the latest developments and today's marketable innovations. analytica is the only exhibition for the laboratory sector in the world that gives them a comprehensive overview of the entire value chain in the laboratory and combines these innovative market tendencies with trends for the laboratory of the future.” Online registration for exhibitors is now possible at the analytica website.
Extensive transfer of knowledge in related-events and conference program
Notable scientists from Germany and abroad will report on the state of the art and development prospects in analysis at the ICM – Internationales Congress Center München. A total of 1,839 visitors gathered information about the latest research findings at the analytica conference in 2016.
As always, the supporting program at analytica 2018 will include live demonstrations, training sessions and lectures. With focal points such as occupational safety, health and safety in the workplace and material and food analysis, once again topics will clearly pertain to actual practice.
Thanks to analytica Job Day and Student Day, the fair will also feature a platform for future professionals.
analytica and ceramitec being held concurrently
analytica 2018 takes place at the same time as ceramitec, the world's leading trade fair for the ceramics industry. As a result, analytica's exhibitors profit from the effects of synergy, especially in the analysis sector: Analysis equipment is used for manufacturing, production, processing and quality control in the ceramics industry. More than 20 percent of ceramitec's visitors come from those sectors. Analysis is necessary when researching new active ingredients and using nanotechnology: The analysis of density, porosity, coarseness, crystal size and heat resistance plays an important role in the ceramics industry. The equipment and techniques needed to do so are on display at analytica.
