RephiLe Appoints Peter Lucas as President, North America

RephiLe Bioscience Ltd. has appointed Peter Lucas as President-North America effective March 15, 2016. Mr. Lucas will be responsible for all North America operations for RephiLe. 

Peter brings a wealth of experience, global leadership, and extensive market knowledge to RephiLe Bioscience.  His prior roles at Millipore, Sartorius, and Cole Parmer (Bibby Scientific) led to continued increases in responsibilities for global sales, marketing, and strategy development.  Peter’s energy, drive, leadership, and business acumen are well recognized within the industry.

Peter’s executive experience in life science and lab equipment markets spans 20 years. In 1996 he joined Millipore NA and achieved notable successes and growth while increasing his responsibilities to Regional Sale Manager. From January 2007 to July 2012, his career continued to develop at Sartorius as Director of Sales and Marketing for Sartorius’ lab products and services. From July 2012 to January 2016, he served as President, Americas for Bibby Scientific (Cole Parmer), with responsibility for Bibby Scientific’s global sales. He had direct reports in offices in the Americas, UK, France, Singapore, China, and India.

With continued global expansion, RephiLe Bioscience announces that Dr. Telis Dimitrakopoulos has assumed the role of President of RephiLe Europe.  Dr. Dimitrakopoulos joined RephiLe in 2013, and is instrumental in the rapid growth of RephiLe business in Europe. Dr. Dimitrakopoulos’ past professional experience covers R&D, marketing and business line management in three of the leading lab water companies: Millipore, Elga (Veolia) and ThermoFisher.  From 2001 to 2009, Telis served as Project Manager to R&D Technology Group leader in Millipore.  He joined Elga (a division of Veolia) as Business and Technical Special Advisor from 2009 to 2011, then as Thermo Fisher Scientific’s Global Business Manager for Lab Water from 2012 before joining RephiLe end of 2013.
