DIREVO Strengthens Management Team
Klaudija Milos, who has been Director of Business Development with responsibilities also for corporate alliances and marketing since joining DIREVO in 2008, has been promoted to become the new Vice President of the Industrial Solutions Business Unit. Klaudija received an engineering degree with specialization in biotechnology at the Mannheim University of Applied Science in Mannheim, Germany. In her new position she will be working together with DIREVO’s partners and clients from the fast-growing biomass conversion industry.
Dr. Albrecht Laeufer will be heading up the Lignocellulose Business Unit as Vice President. He joined DIREVO in June 2011 from being cofounder and CEO of Corvay GmbH, Hannover and has over 20 years of international management experience in the vaccine, pharmaceutical, chemical and industrial biotech industries in leading functions, at Vakzine Projekt Management, Solvay Pharmaceuticals, Solvay Enzymes and Rütgerswerke. The Lignocellulose Business Unit focuses on turning biological feedstocks into "green fuels" and bulk chemicals. Dr. Laeufer and his team will develop, optimize and implement solutions for DIREVO’s partners and customers in the form of biocatalysts and bioprocesses in all areas of lignocellulosic biomass conversion.
