Centogene is strengthening senior management team

Centogene Holding AG announced that Christine Uekert, formerly executive in IT businesses at SPM Technologies and SAP and Life Science at ProBioGen and OD-OS, and Dr Stefan Maeser, formerly executive of Life Technologies, Arcensus and Genzyme, have joined the group of diagnostic laboratories, as Managing Director of Centogene Rostock GmbH and Chief Marketing Officer and member of the board of Centogene Holding AG, respectively.

Prior to joining Centogene Christine held various senior management positions in finance, controlling and administration in medium-sized, venture-capitalized as well as in international, renowned companies. During her career she was focused especially on emerging growth and turn around processes including restructuring projects, implementation of state-of-the-art finance systems and complex M&A and financing projects.

Stefan Maeser, PhD is a biochemist with 19 years business experience in the life science industry. He worked at the Max-Planck-Institute for Molecular Genetics in Berlin, Institute for Genebiological Research Berlin GmbH and at the Institute for Molecular Virology, University of Wisconsin ¿ Madison, USA. Afterwards he worked with Life Technologies, Arcensus and Genzyme and held positions as marketing manager, sales and marketing manager, CEO, national and European/Middle East business unit head and had been a member of senior management teams in Germany and Central Europe. He worked in sales and marketing, medical affairs, general management and financial planning.
