IDT Biologika presents its investment plans
IDT Biologika GmbH is represented at this year’s Bio International Convention in Washington D.C., where it will also be presenting its investment plans. By the end of 2012, EUR 85 million will flow into new high-tech production facilities and the company’s pharmaceutical infrastructure.
IDT Biologika GmbH continues to invest in order to further expand its capacities and expertise. In particular, investment will include a new deep freeze storage room, a filling system for vaccines and several specialized storage facilities. The research labs will also be enlarged. The new, state-of-the-art vaccine filling lines enable us to produce large quantities at the highest level of quality. A filling line for viral vaccines and additional freeze-drying facilities have also been planned.
Managing Director, Dr. Ralf Pfirmann, highlighted the importance of the investment plans, "Our new facilities will allow us to offer biotech products on the international markets on a broader scale and of the utmost quality."
