BASF SE and Sigma-Aldrich® have signed a global distribution agreement for a number of BASF’s pharmaceutical excipients. Sigma-Aldrich will repackage the products into small pack sizes making them available for academic-oriented research and development segments like universities and laboratories.
“Through our agreement with Sigma-Aldrich, we can ensure scientists around the globe a reliable supply of our high-performance materials, addressing today’s most relevant developments in drug formulation and delivery. Researchers will benefit through more flexible packaging sizes that meet their lab demands,” says Dr. Ralf Fink, Head of Global Marketing Pharma Ingredients at BASF.
