TcLand Expression appoints personalized medicine pioneer Patrick Terry as Chairman of the Board of Directors

TcLand Expression SA announced the appointment of Patrick Terry as Chairman of the company's Board of Directors. Patrick Terry (a Board member since 2009) succeeds TcLand Expression CEO Alain Huriez MD, who had held the position since 2005. TcLand Expression is developing gene expression biomarkers in transplantation medicine (currently undergoing clinical validation) and companion diagnostics based on gene expression in auto-immune diseases.

Patrick Terry is a co-founder and former Director of Genomic Health Inc. a pioneering personalized medicine company based in California that he and a group of prominent leaders in the fields of genomics, bioinformatics and biotechnology founded in 2000. Patrick Terry is also a founder of the Personalized Medicine Coalition, the Coalition for 21st Century Medicine and co-founder and a former President of the International Genetic Alliance, which focuses on empowering problem-solving by networking the consumer movement, centers of excellence and high technology with patient communities around the world.
