The Waldner Group has announced that it has taken over the premises of the neighbouring company Eisen Thiermann, which found itself in a challenging economic situation in 2024. This step underlines Waldner's commitment to growth and innovation, while also demonstrating its corporate responsibility and regional strength.

The long-established family company Eisen Thiermann, a valued partner of the regional economy for decades, had to reorient itself due to the ongoing crisis in the construction industry and the resulting market situation. The takeover of the company premises by the Waldner Group was organised in close consultation between the two parties and implemented as a constructive process.

‘We look back with pride on the history of our company and are pleased to have found a buyer in Waldner that is economically strong and shares the values of our region,’ emphasised Patricia Thiermann-Haase. ’The negotiations with Karl Angele, shareholder and member of the Supervisory Board of the Waldner Group, were extremely constructive and characterised by mutual respect. This step is a significant contribution to securing regional economic strength.’

The acquisition of the neighbouring property will enable Waldner to further expand its production capacities and innovative strength. The acquired site offers ideal conditions for shaping the planned expansion in a future-oriented and sustainable way, while at the same time making an important contribution to securing and developing the regional economy.

‘We are delighted that this investment not only secures our growth, but also provides a positive impetus for the region,’ explains Jochen Früh, Chairman of the Waldner Group. ’Our goal is to further strengthen the Wangen im Allgäu site and to secure and expand jobs in the long term.’

The Waldner Group would like to express its sincere thanks to Patricia Thiermann-Haase, Ursula Thiermann and Markus Thiermann for their partnership and cooperation. The acquisition of the site marks a significant milestone on the road to an even more successful future and shows how regional companies can work together to turn challenges into opportunities.
