Hettich Group enters growth partnership with Bregal Unternehmerkapital
Investor to support further expansion, particularly in Asia and the USA
The Hettich Group, a third-generation family-owned life science equipment company, enters into a growth partnership with Bregal Unternehmerkapital GmbH.

The Hettich Group, based in Tuttlingen, Germany, has been active in this segment for 120 years with technological expertise and entrepreneurial spirit and has achieved a leading international position.
The owner family around Klaus-Günter and Kristina Eberle has decided to enter into a partnership with Bregal Unternehmerkapital for the next stages of international growth. Klaus-Günter and Kristina Eberle stated, "We chose Bregal Unternehmerkapital out of several potential partners because they can best support our growth potential through their existing network and understand us as entrepreneurs”.
As an entrepreneurial investor with a focus on growth industries and partnerships with family-owned businesses, Bregal Unternehmerkapital will acquire a minority stake as part of a capital increase. It is planned that Bregal Unternehmerkapital will use its global network to support Hettich's further organic and inorganic expansion, particularly in Asia and the USA. Christoph Pabst and Leopold Frank, members of the Executive Board of Hettich, added, "Our initial discussions with Bregal Unternehmerkapital have already provided us with several insights that offer strong approaches for our further growth. This will also benefit our employees".
Together, Hettich and Bregal Unternehmerkapital will tackle the next steps of international growth. The partnership is still subject to customary regulatory approvals
