Christ takes over manufacturer for loading systems
Resources, competence and innovative strength significantly increases
Martin Christ Gefriertrocknungsanlagen GmbH
Martin Christ is one of the world‘s leading companies in the development and manufacture of freeze-drying systems, which are necessary for the production of vaccines or medicines. Highly specialized systems for loading and unloading are required to efficiently and safely transport the various substances into the freeze dryer.
The acquisition of Motus will now significantly expand these resources. Motus is the long-term competence center for innovative loading and unloading solutions in the Christ group of companies. A strategic cooperation between the two companies has existed for several years and is now being significantly intensified.
With more than 20 years of experience, Motus can look back on a wide range of expertise in the pharmaceutical industry and biotechnology. All business activities of Motus will remain with the acquisition, so that the extensive product and service portfolio will be fully retained.
„It is great that we have found a long-term oriented partner who has a great interest in continuing our Motus activities in Marburg and also strategically expanding them. Through this step, together with Christ, we can give our employees, customers and regional partners an excellent perspective for the future!“, explain the two owners of Motus Engineering GmbH & Co. KG Alexander Wagner and Ralf Battenberg.
„The products of Motus and Christ complement each other perfectly. We are also very much looking forward to the joint long-term development of our businesses! We are convinced that we have a lot of positive potential and growth opportunities together in the future,“ add Managing Directors Dr. Frank Harms and Malte Christ of Martin Christ Gefriertrocknungsanlagen GmbH.
