New Chiral Separations Laboratory is operational
Since 2006 the laboratories have separated an increasing number of samples for Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical, Agrochemical and Flavour/Fragrance companies. The combination of a fast free screen, high yield, high specification and low cost has resulted in this approach being the route of preference to obtain initial quantities of both chiral isomers for toxicological and early biological studies. In 2008 thecapacity to separate compounds was nearing exhaustion. Hence Chiral Technologies has designed and commissioned a new laboratory specific to the needs of custom small scale chiral separations.
