Labcyte Inks Agreement with Bio Laboratories to be Exclusive Distributor in Singapore
Labcyte announced the selection of Bio Laboratories as its exclusive distributor in Singapore.
“We are pleased to renew and expand our relationship with Bio Laboratories,” said Stephen Bates, Sr. Vice President of Sales, Marketing and Service of Labcyte Inc. “As we grow in Asia, Bio Laboratories’ experience will help us reach users in our established market of pharmaceutical drug discovery as well as the expanding genomics market. We expect Bio Laboratories will play an important role as we increase our presence into the Asian markets.”
“Labcyte has amazing and innovative tools that will meet the needs of our customers in multiple fields of research,” said Mr. Benny Wee, Managing Director at Bio Laboratories. “We see a significant market for low-volume transfer devices in Singapore. We believe that the growing genomics markets, especially for gene expression, SNP analysis and RNAi, will find that the need for miniaturization is met especially well by the Labcyte technologies. We also think that researchers in the growing pharmaceutical presence in Singapore will find that their compound management and high-throughput screening needs are best met by the Labcyte acoustic technologies that are quickly becoming a standard in much of Europe and the U.S.”
