Synovial cell sarcoma

Sarcoma is a cancer where the affected cells manifest themselves among otherwise healthy soft tissues. Synovial joint tissues are located in the cavities of joints: knees, elbows, ankles, wrists, shoulders, etc.

Genetics 1 are key to developing this and many other diseases as well as the ability of the body's immune system to fend it off.

It was at one point claimed that an average person has numerous cells growing with various forms of genetic mutation (see mutagens, and carcinogens) or damage in them, but a healthy person's immune system is able to detect and dispose of the malformed cells prior to full blown cancer developing or spreading.

Robert Urich (1946-2002) Emmy award-winning actor died from this cancer after thinking that the disease had been beaten by chemical chemotherapy and surgeries.
