Sarcoplasma
Sarcoplasma simply is the name that is given to the cytoplasm of the muscular cells. Its content is comparable to the one of the cytoplasm of other cells. It has apparatus of Golgi, near the nucleus. It has mitocondrias, just on the inside of the cytoplasmic membrane (sarcolema). It has smooth endoplasmic reticulum, although it is organized in a special way, an extensive network. The calcium concentration in sarcoplasma is also a special element of the muscular fiber by means of which the contractions take place and regulate. |
