SORL1
The SORL1 (also known as SORLA, SORLA1, LR11, or sortilin-related receptor, L(DLR class) A repeats-containing) gene is a gene that in humans is predominantly expressed in the central nervous system[1]. Additional recommended knowledgeIn January 2007, a group of international researchers published a study[2] that proposes that the gene SORL1 plays a part in seniors developing Alzheimer's disease, significant across racial and ethnic strata[3]. The gene Apolipoprotein E (APOE) is still the gene of best prediction for Alzheimer's.[4]. See alsoReferences
