Royal Life Saving Society of CanadaThe Royal Life Saving Society of Canada, commonly known as the Life Saving Society, is the governing body for lifesaving and lifeguarding in Canada. As a non-profit organization dedicated to reducing drownings, the LSS is a national leader in first aid and CPR training, and an international leader in lifeguarding and lifesaving training. Additional recommended knowledgeThe Lifesaving Society is incorporated in Ontario under the name "The Royal Life Saving Society Canada/La Société Royale de Sauvetage Canada" but has branches for every province and territory. The LSS represents Canada on the board of the International Life Saving Federation and is part of the Royal Life Saving Society Commonwealth.
