Roc Ordman



Roc Ordman (Full name Alfred B. Ordman) is an American biochemist and researcher into aging, life extention and the effects of free radicals on the body.

He is Professor of Chemistry and Biochemistry at Beloit College, Beloit, Wisconsin. He is also visiting Professor of Biochemistry, Rush Medical College, a private university in Chicago, Illinois.

He is notable for his well publicised recommendation that adults need 500 mg of Vitamin C twice per day to achieve optimum benefit. A level way above official recommendations and for which he now holds a patent (US patent 5,558,870) for this dosage regime for vitamin c.
