Philippe DautzenbergPhilippe Dautzenberg (Elsene, 20 December 1849 - Paris, 9 May 1935) was a Belgian malacologist, the branch of invertebrate zoology that deals with the study of mollusks. He collected a great deal of the shell collection of the Royal Belgian Institute of Natural Sciences, which consists of 9 000 000 specimens and is one of the three biggest shell collections in the world.
