Nerol
Nerol is a natural monoterpene found in many essential oils such as lemongrass. It was originally isolated from neroli oil, hence its name. It is a liquid with the aroma of sweet rose and is therefore used in perfumery. Additional recommended knowledgeNerol is the cis-isomer of geraniol. It readily loses water to form dipentene.
