Luc De SchepperLuc De Schepper (born, 1946, Belgium) is a physician, acupuncturist and homeopath. Dr. De Schepper, known to his patients, colleagues and students as "Dr. Luc", earned an MD in 1971 in Ghent, Belgium; after graduation he served as a family doctor for NATO troops in West Germany for four years. He then trained in acupuncture, first at the Dutch Doctors Acupuncture Association in Amsterdam, Holland where he earned a LicAc in 1978, and then at the International Society of Acupuncture in Paris, France, where he earned at PhD in 1980. He first studied homeopathy as part of his acupuncture program, and later at the British Institute of Homeopathy where he received a D.I. Hom in 1992, and at the Hahnemann Academy of North America (with Robin Murphy) where he received a CHom in 1993. Dr. Luc moved to California in 1981 and obtained an acupuncture license there in 1982. After completing a neurology residency in the US, he gained California medical licensure in 1985. He currently also holds medical licenses in Colorado and New Jersey. Dr. Luc is best known for his educational work in homeopathy. His textbook Hahnemann Revisited is considered authoritative [1]. In 1993, he founded a school of homeopathy, the Renaissance Institute of Classical Homeopathy, which provides professional training in classical homeopathy to health care professionals and has branches in Boston, MA, Newark, NJ, and Las Vegas, NV.
