Leukaemia ResearchLeukaemia Research is a British charitable organisation, established in 1960 whose aim is to research leukaemia, lymphomas, myeloma, aplastic anaemia, myelodysplasia, the myeloproliferative disorders and the related blood disorders in both children and adults. Additional recommended knowledgeIts patron is the Duke of Kent and the current president is Ian Botham. It receives no government grants and depends entirely on voluntary donations. A substantial part of the money needed to fight these diseases is raised by more than 150 voluntary Branches across England, Scotland and Wales.
They organise many events to raise money, some run Bikeathons.
