Dr. Joseph W. Alexander, DVM, (1947) is an American politician from the US state of Oklahoma.

Appointed by Governor of Oklahoma Brad Henry in 2004, Dr. Alexander is the current Secretary of Science and Technology. As the Secretary, Dr. Alexander oversees all efforts to use science and technology to improve government and to better serve the citizens of Oklahoma.
