Alfred VulpianEdmé Félix Alfred Vulpian (born January 5, 1826, Paris, France; died May 18, 1887) was a French physician and neurologist. He was the co-discoverer of Vulpian-Bernard spinal muscular atrophy and the Vulpian-Heidenhain-Sherrington phenomenon. Additional recommended knowledgeAmong other noted discoveries and experiments, Vulpian discovered adrenaline in the adrenal medulla. Vulpian's monument in ParisA big marble statue has been erected to Vulpian, just at the end of Rue Antoine Dubois, at little distance from the Faculty of Medicine in which he taught.
