Eber LandauEber Landau (November 8, 1878 - October 30, 1959) was a Latvian physician from Rēzekne. In 1902 he graduated from the University of Tartu, and afterwards continued his studies of anatomy and histology at the Histology Laboratory in Munich, and in St. Petersburg under Peter Lesgaft (1837-1909). Between 1906-1912 he was an assistant prosector at the University of Tartu, and later worked at the Anatomy Institute in Berne. Additional recommended knowledgeIn 1923 Landau founded the Department of Histology and Embryology at Kaunas University, and was head of the department until 1932.
