Diving Diseases Research CentreThe Diving Diseases Research Centre (DDRC) is a British hyperbaric medical organisation located near Derriford Hospital in Plymouth, Devon. It is a registered charity and was established in 1980 to research the effects of diving on human physiology. Additional recommended knowledgeThe DDRC has become a world authority on hyperbaric medical treatments with many publications detailing its work. Patients at DDRC include both routine and emergency cases. The main objective of DDRC is research into diving medicine. Some of this funding is organised through 'The Friends of DDRC'. The Centre is also an education and training base providing diving medical, clinical and hyperbaric courses. |
