Curt SchimmelbuschCurt Theodor Schimmelbusch (November 16, 1860 in Groß-Nogath, Westpreußen; - August 2, 1895, in Berlin) is a German physician and pathologist. Additional recommended knowledgeLifeFrom 1879 to 1882 Schimmelbusch studied natural sciences in Freiburg i. Br. and München, and then Medicine in Würzburg, Berlin and Halle. In Halle 1886 he became the doctor of the medicine promoviert and then as an assistant with Karl Joseph Eberth (1835–1926) in Anatomischen Institut tätig. Starting from 1888 he was an assistant in Bürgerhospital in Köln with Bernhard Bardenheuer (1839-1913) and from 1889 in Berlin with Ernst von Bergmann (1836–1907). 1892 Habilitation. After it he designed the Schimmelbusch-Maske. It acts around a mask out of wire mesh, in addition it serves Ether before the face of the patient to evaporate, whereby the Ethernarkose comes by inhalation. Works
