Current Issues in Molecular Biology (CIMB, Curr. Iss. Mol. Biol.) is a peer-reviewed academic journal that publishes high quality critical review papers, in English, in all areas of molecular biology, molecular microbiology, virology, intestinal microbiology and probiotics. Top quality original research papers and short communications are also considered for publication. The journal is published by Horizon Scientific Press, from Norfolk, UK. Additional recommended knowledgeFull content of all articles are freely available online. A print edition of the journal is also available. One volume per year. The 2006 impact factor was 4.481.[1] HistoryCurrent Issues in Molecular Biology was established in 1999. In January 2008 the journal Current Issues in Intestinal Microbiology was incorporated into Current Issues in Molecular Biology. The new combined editorial board strengthened the publication and created a stronger and more broadly based publication. References
