Craspedocephalus brasiliensis is an out-dated scientific name that is presently listed in the synonymy of the following two species of venomous South American snakes:^[1]

Bothrops alternatus - Gray, 1849 - found in southeastern Brazil, Paraguay, Uruguay and northern Argentina.
Bothrops jararaca - Günther, 1858 - found in southern Brazil, northeastern Paraguay and northern Argentina.
