CorpsicleCorpsicle is a term that has been used in science fiction to refer to a corpse that has been cryonically cryopreserved. Its earliest printed usage in the current form dates from 1969 and appears in Fred Pohl's book, The Age of the Pussyfoot. To advocates of cryonics, the term is an offensive pejorative because of the mocking implication that cryonics patients are corpses and ice pops ("popsicles", in the USA), not sick people to be recovered.[1] See alsoReferences
