Child Mental Health Research Trust
The Child Mental Health Research Trust (aka C-ment) is a registered charity (number 801991). It was founded in 1991 by University College London and West Essex Child Mental Health Services to expand clinical services for and research into mental disturbances in young people. Additional recommended knowledgeC-ment has supported projects such as identifying children at risk for drug use, understanding why teenagers harm themselves, and which children with Tourettes syndrome need help. Although some of the projects run by C-ment have been fully funded by the Trust, they also provide the initial funding needed to ensure that young researchers have time to prepare projects and to allow pilot schemes to get off the ground. |
